Powerful Communication Strategies

Having the ability to communicate and interact more effectively with the people you work and interact with has never been more important to your career success or the overall success of your organization than now. In light of the diverse conditions present in today’s workplace, the key to communicating and interacting more effectively is to understand your communication and listening style and that of others. Having the ability to modify your style to be better understood, regardless of generational and gender differences, is an empowering skill. We are not born good communicators but we can learn to be. This workshop will teach you how.

This advanced communication workshop is for individuals who want to learn how to communicate and interact more effectively with others.

  • Define the communication process, identify and overcome barriers;
  • Understand their communication and listening style and how that impacts others;
  • Enhance their appreciation of different communicating and listening work styles;
  • Learn to better understand, respect and appreciate generational communication differences;
  • Develop inquiring skills to gather and clarify information and build collaborative teams.

  • Communicate and interact more effectively with others;
  • Increase your acceptance of others and your ability to successfully manage relationships;
  • Establish and/or improve your relationships both at work and at home;
  • Be better understood regardless of who you are working with;

  • Reduce conflict and improve your negotiating skills by communicating more effectively.

By means of group discussion, case studies and one-on-one instruction, participants will gain the ability to apply what they learn in this workshop.
