Course Outline

Fall Protection for Industrial Establishments

General information on course

Falls are a major cause of workplace injuries and deaths in Ontario. The proper use of fall protection equipment could prevent these injuries and fatalities. However, workers often fail to use fall protection equipment or they use it improperly. This workshop has been developed for participants who have little or no working knowledge about working from heights. It is also designed to be a refresher course for experienced workers. Participants must complete both the theoretical and practical components of this workshop to receive their record of training (ROT).
